I hate the way Apple constantly update their products and do not let customers buy last years model at a reduced rate.
There have been more generations of ipods than episodes of Bruce's generation game and they are always full price. I might be wrong here because I have done little to no research on the subject but why don't they let you have the old models at low, low prices?
I couldn't possibly pay £180 to have all my top tunes on my glamorized Walkman because I wouldn't use it that much and I have no interest to watch videos on the thing either.
Okay, I could downgrade but why the hell should I? I don't want to mess about taking all my tracks on and off the bleeding thing only to think, "OMG I am in such an Elton John mood today and I have swapped it for GAGA".
So why not a different brand of MP3 player? Well basically I want an ipod because it is so compatible with iTunes. I have tried Sony in the past and have had real trouble transferring tunes. I'm a simple guy and the whole iPod process looks simple enough to me.
All I am asking for is for Apple to make a no thrills high storage MP3 player for reasonable price, it does not have to fancy and play videos, all it has to do it play tunes. Is this too much to ask? Surely Apple are missing something here, there must be a whole market of modest men who can't justify spending £180 to get what they want. So boo to you Apple, make me a product I can't refuse but until then I ain't buying anything.
